The statutory objectives of the Foundation are:

  • to promote the recommendations of international scientific societies that deal with infectious diseases and other fields of medicine among doctors and other professions involved in health care;
  • to contribute to the organization and promotion of health care standards in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, and in other fields of medicine;
  • to conduct scientific projects on epidemiology, on the treatment of infectious diseases, and in other medical fields, all of which involve international cooperation;
  • to promote health and health-seeking behavior aimed at preventing the spread of communicable diseases;
  • to promote health and health education across all fields of medicine;
  • to train doctors and other health care professionals working in the field of communicable diseases and in other fields of medicine;
  • to support and promote further educational and scientific initiatives in the fields of medical science and health prevention, protection, and promotion;
  • to promote healthy lifestyles in the general public;
  • to disseminate and popularize science among the general public;
  • to support activities intended for people with special needs (people with disabilities or health restrictions);
  • to support activities intended for people from groups at risk of social exclusion and/or requiring special support (people with addictions, prisoners, refugees, migrants, homeless people, and people in difficult socio-economic situations).
